We use hand-welting construction for almost all of our shoes.

If you're curious about the difference between hand-welted and Goodyear-welted shoes, the former is crafted by a skilled artisan who carves the rib directly into the leather of the insole, while the latter uses a cotton rib that is glued to the insole. As a result, the bond between the welt, upper, and insole is much stronger in hand-welted shoes.

Additionally, we can achieve a closer fit between the welt and upper, giving the shoes a sleek and stylish silhouette with a minimal gap between the two.

Hand-welted shoes are an excellent choice for those seeking high-quality and well-crafted footwear.

Hand-lasting is a traditional technique that has been used for generations by bespoke shoemakers to create high-quality shoes.

However, in modern times, shoe factories have turned to hydraulic-lasting machines to increase efficiency and speed up the production process. These machines can quickly pull the upper over the vamp and attach it tentatively to the insole. However, they cannot shape the waist, and the instep of shoe lasts as accurately as hand-lasting.

Although the process is time-consuming and requires a lot of effort, we believe that this level of attention to detail is what sets our shoes apart from the rest. By doing so, we are able to create high-quality shoes that are not only visually appealing but also incredibly comfortable to wear.

Our top priority is to maintain high quality standards for all of our shoes, including the heels. To achieve this, we make use of the traditional technique of layering leather to construct the heel, which is then shaped through a rigorous sanding process with great attention to detail. This method ensures that each heel is meticulously handcrafted to perfection.
