The fundamental aspect of shoemaking is the last. The last is the "heart and soul", carrying both the aesthetics and fitting qualities, of a well constructed shoe.

Y by Yeossal has a diverse collection of lasts for our Handwelted collection to create beautiful shoes and help you to achieve the best possible fit.

YC3

Last YC3 is a contemporary last with a soft square toe and narrow waist. Aesthetically it is a softer version of the SG65 last, with smoother contoured curves and classic toe box.

This last fits true to size with generous voume under the vamp with an average instep and sculpted, close fitting heel. We recommend taking your usual size in this last. This last is available in both E and F fittings.

Last YC3 fits indistinguishable to BN7.

BN7

Last BN7 is identical in every aspect to the YC3 but with a soft round toe shape. Aesthetically it is a softer version of the DR70 last, with smoother contoured curves and classic toe box.

This last fits true to size with generous voume under the vamp with an average instep and sculpted, close fitting heel. We recommend taking your usual size in this last. This last is available in both E and F fittings.

Last BN7 fits indistinguishable to YC3.

SG65

One of our most popular lasts, SG65 is a square toe last with straight contours and slightly elevated toe box. Aesthetically it is a sleeker version of the YC3 last with accentuated lines.

This last fits slightly narrower with an average instep and sculpted, close fitting heel. We recommend taking this last your usual size if you do not need a larger width. This last is available in both E and F fittings.

Last SG65 fits similarly to DR70.

DR70

Last DR70 is the mirror of SG65 with a round toe shape. Aesthetically it is a sleeker version of the BN7 last with accentuated lines.

This last fits slightly narrower with an average instep and sculpted, close fitting heel. We recommend taking this last your usual size if you do not need a larger width. This last is available in both E and F fittings.

Last DR70 fits similarly to SG65.

YSQ

Last YSQ is a classic last with soft chiselled toe shape with slightly higher instep.

This last fits true to size, with generous volume in width and under the vamp. We recommend taking this last in your usual size.

This last is available in both E and F fittings.

GQ06

Last GQ06 is our widest fitting last with a bulbous toe shape.

It has generous fitting all round. We recommend sizing down half size for loafers. For boots we recommend taking it in your normal size for a comfortable fit.

This last is available in both E and F fittings.

YRB

Last YRB is a slightly elonogated last with 'Almond' toe shape last. It features narrow waist and close fitting heel.

This last fits slightly narrower. We recommend taking this last your usual size if you do not need a larger width. You may experience a quater to half an inch of space at the front of the toe box as this last is slightly elongated but this does not affect the heel to ball fitting.

This last is available in both E and F fittings.

Leathers

Yeossal uses top grade selection of full grain leathers comprising of smooth leathers and leathers with pattern mix. Most of the leathers that we use are aniline or semi-aniline finishes to give our fine footwear a depth of colours while maintaining high durability. We source our upper materials from renowned tanneries around the world.
