I went against better judgment and ordered four pairs of these trousers in one order. I will shortly discuss them in the following review. TL;DR Buy them now, They are worth it. FIT: I can use the side adjusters to cinch up the waist and walk out the door. I did order my own inseam, which was also advised against, and they are mostly good in that regard as well. The length hits at the top of the shoe, with an ever so slight forward break. The width around the thigh and calf is also good. I ordered my trousers in a thirty-two inch waist with the rest of the measurements cut for a thirty-one inch body. They are trim fitting without being baggy, nor tight. I would say, “just”. I also requested they have a higher rise than their normal fit and this was also done to all four pairs. I will also mention that my cream pair are cut a bit baggier than the others, with the length being a touch longer, thus giving a definite forward break on the shoe. This was not requested, but I do not mind it. COLOR: My favorite of the colors which I selected is dark brown. It is quite a rich brown, without looking black or too milky. I would say it is a true dark brown. The forest green, then cream and lastly grey, would be the order of my next favorites. The cream color is more of a British khaki, think less white and more tan. Admittedly, this is more of personal opinion and your preference may vary. CLOTH: The forest green, grey, and dark brown are all of the same material. As described on the website, it has a dry hand, that retains a nice shape when ironed. The cream pair is a different material. It is not the same. Despite the description being the same, it is a kind of light moleskin material. It has a fuzzy hand and definitely more of an autumnal feeling than the summery feeling of the others. All pairs wrinkle on par with other cotton trousers I have owned in the past. DETAILS & FINISHING: The metal side adjusters and zipper fly may be my favorite part of the trousers. They are top notch and feel good when in use. The dark brown pair features different hardware than the others, and I actually prefer it. The side adjusters feature a center point which makes them much easier to actuate. The finishing is good. I did not notice any loose threads or wonky stitching. I will point out that there were no extra buttons provided, something I wish Yeossal could do in future orders. SERVICE: This is wear Yeossal really shines. Their service is great. I am probably more neurotic than their typical customer and messaged them through Instagram a lot. I mean a lot. I feel they provided me with great non-judgmental replies. If you choose to go with Yeossal, you will not want for customer service. I will mention here that my initial pair of dark brown trousers was made in an incorrect fabric. But Yeossal’s QC department caught it preshipping and a new pair of trousers was made up, and shipped four weeks after the initial three pairs were sent off. CONCLUSION: I think the standard bearer for the experience of a maker is whether or not you will be willing to shop with them again. I can say this with certainty, I will be a repeat customer of Yeossal. My order process was not without a hiccup, but the price and quality of the trousers represents an excellent value. The cost performance is outstanding. I do not think you can find a better made-to-measure service out there. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
